Welcome to the New York State Coalition for Children’s Behavioral Health

Message from the President & CEO

Kayleigh HeadshotColleagues,

Receiving timely and appropriate behavioral health services has a lifelong positive impact on the health and mental health of children, youth and families, especially those affected by adverse experiences, trauma, and severe emotional disturbances. Early identification and interventions are key to helping children develop emotionally and socially, perform better in school, and fully participate in family and community life. The NYS Coalition for Children’s Behavioral Health (CCBH) is committed to supporting community-based providers that offer children, youth and families the care they need to lead safe, healthy, and happy lives.

CCBH is the voice of children’s behavioral health providers and the families they serve, with the unifying goal of improving our care continuum for all who need services. We advocate for increasing family and youth involvement in treatment planning, expanding and strengthening the array of children’s mental health services available, and ensuring that public policy and public dollars support the treatment system we need to care for the children and families of the future.

Consider CCBH your go-to resource on all things children’s behavioral health. If you have any questions or are interested in getting involved with us, please reach out! We would love to speak with you. Please contact us at ccbhny@gmail.com!

Regards,

Kayleigh
